How the Five Pillar Wellness Program Works

  • Business notifies us they would like to offer the Five Pillar Program in their business.
  • We enrol them and explain the program in an interview.
  • Business agrees to notify their workers that the Five Pillar Research Program is available.
  • Business decides what research cohorts it wishes to establish, management, staff, workers, separate divisions within the business, separate geographic locations etc.
  • An interested worker enrols in the voluntary, anonymous research program and agrees to the protocol.
  • The worker completes the three online forms anonymously using a code name.
  • The worker receives their Five Pillar Wellness Progress Chart via email. The business does not receive these progress charts of individuals. The goal is to alert the individual that they are at wellness risk, not alert the business that certain employees are at risk. This is an important difference with our Wellness Risk Management program.
  • The worker decides if they wish to enrol in an optional, voluntary Five Pillar Wellness Workshop.
  • The worker decides if they are interested in the optional Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Obesity, Anti-Aging, Pain Relief, Wellness Diet exclusively with Dr. Ouellette, the originator. This is a diet that does it all.
  • The 35 numbers for the individual are pooled into the numbers for the cohort they are enrolled in, and the business gets averaged numbers for the cohort group.


Five Pillar Wellness Workshop Fees for people wishing to improve their scores
 - Wellness workshop fees are on a per hour basis, are covered by the worker and are designed to troubleshoot issues a worker may have with their Five Pillar Wellness Action Plan.

- No actual health advice is given in the Five Pillar Program unless the pain relief diet option is chosen. Advice in that case, is specific to the diet. The 35 page Five Pillar Wellness Report of Findings contains what each score indicates and what the recommendations are for each score. This Report of Findings is obtained in the Wellness Workshop, or it can be purchased separately online.

 - The research program builds numbers for both the individual and the business as aggregate cohort statistics.

 - Nutrition, Exercise, Spinal Health, Rest & Relaxation, Attitude & Perspective in life all have a very good science base to qualify them as wellness pillars.

We started long ago on a project that was very large. This meant pieces would need to come together slowly. We concluded from clinical experience that the Five Pillars were the essence of Self-Help Wellness.

Science was the lead with a basic principle that, to keep it in the Self-Help category  various health care professions, including my own, would need to take a back seat while the science pertaining to Self-Help would need the lead.

So, what is the bottom line fine print with our program? If people follow our suggestions, our diet, our lifestyle, then they will see a correction in blood fats, a correction in blood pressure, a lowering to normalization of weight, a better vascular system, including the heart, and a better brain with all that this entails. This all comes naturally from following the Wellness science.

We measure a person for that science and show how to move forward with Five Pillar Wellness Risk Management.
